Loch nan Uamh and Viaduct

Loch nan Uamh in Lochaber on the Northwest coast of Scotland, the viaduct of the same name in the picture carries the West Highland Line from Fort William to Arisaig. The viaduct opened to rail traffic in 1901. The photograph is taken near the site of The Prince's Cairn which marks the spot that Prince Charles Edward Stuart departed for France after the failed Jacobite rebellion of 1745
