Sligachan Old Bridge Isle of Skye
Sligachan Old Bridge spans the River Sligachan at the small settlement of the same name on the Isle of Skye, an Inner Hebridean island off the Northwest coast of the Highlands of Scotland. Estimated to have been built in the 1820's with perhaps a bridge there before it. Now itself redundant in use since a newer bridge was constructed to take the main road North on the island. The imposing peaks of Sgurr nan Gillean can be seen in the background.
