Portpatrick

Portpatrick, a small village located on the Irish Sea coast of Dumfries and Galloway on the Rhins of Galloway. A popular tourist destination by road and also by sea with frequent vistors from Northern Ireland a mere 21 miles across the sea. It has a lifeboat station and the lifeboat is prominent in the scene captured here. It is also well known for being at the start of the Southern Upland Way.
