Pictured just as the sun was beginning to rise behind it and the neighbouring peak of Cul Beag. The clouds at differing heights catching varying amounts of colour from the suns rays.

Pretty much straight out of the camera without the use of any filters. As usual this lovely light and colour was only there for a short period of time as the sun quickly began to make its way up in to the sky.

 

I have isolated two peaks in this shot but from the location it was taken from at Achnahaird bay you can see several of the Assynt and Coigach peaks.
